Start Dubbing
With your source playing, press Record on
the remote control. "A.Dub•," "V.Dub•,"
or "A/V Dub•" will appear on the on-
screen display.
Options while Dubbing

• To pause the A/V Dub, press Still. While
in Pause mode, you can change or
reposition the source device.
• To resume the A/V Dub, press Record.
• To stop the A/V Dub manually, press
Stop.
• To stop the A/V Dub automatically, see
"A/V Dub Auto Stop" on page 81.
To Listen to Dubbed Audio...
Dubbed audio is recorded on the tape's
linear (mono) track. To hear the new
soundtrack, you must turn off Hi-Fi audio
for the desired playback deck, see page 50.
