Multi-Brand Remote Setup - Cable Box/DSS
You can program your remote
control to operate many popular
brands of cable box or digital
satellite system (DSS) receiver.
Find your device on the list at
right and follow the instructions
for setup.
Once you have programmed your
remote, some or all of the keys
highlighted above will be available
to operate your cable box/DSS.

Turn On Cable Box/DSS
Press the power button on your device.

Program Code
Press and hold down the Cable/DSS button
while entering the 2-digit code for your
brand of cable box/DSS with the 0–9 keys
(see table).
Note: If there is more than one code for
your brand, try them all until one works.

Check Your Results
If the cable box/DSS changes channels,
programming is complete! If the device
does not respond, try another 2-digit code.
Some devices are not listed but can be
programmed.
Operate Your Cable Box

Press Cable/DSS to set the remote control to
operate your device. Note: When the
remote control is in Cable/DSS mode, it
will NOT operate your VCR. To return to
VCR mode, press VCR on the remote
control.
