Press the down arrow until Cable Box Output is
selected.

Set "Cable Box Output"
Press the right arrow key to select from the
following options:
• Ch ## — Indicates that your cable box is
connected to the "IN (FROM ANT.)" jack on
the VCR back panel and is tuned to Channel
2, 3, or 4. Use the number keys to set the
appropriate channel.
• Line 1 — Indicates that your cable box is
connected to the front line inputs.
• Line 2 — Indicates that your cable box is
connected to the rear line inputs.

Cable Box Control Operation
With Cable Box Control enabled, you can set the Record Source for Timer
Recordings to the actual cable channel you wish to record (see page 63). The
Cable Box Control Mouse will send the proper channel to your cable box
automatically.
Note: If Cable Box Control is disabled, you must set the Record Source to
Channel 2, 3, or 4—whichever your cable box uses—and manually select the
channel you wish to record on the cable box.
