Combination venting units are shipped with round outer flue covers and inner flue cover plates installed that will require removal before connecting the vent pipe. If
you require a rear vented unit, remove the round outer rear flue cover (2 screws, Figure 9A) and the inner flue cover plate (4 screws, Figure 9B). If you require a top
vented unit, remove the round outer top flue cover (2 screws, Figure 9A) and the inner top flue cover plate. Remove inner top flue cover plate and gasket (2 screws
Figure 9B) using a 5/16" nut driver. Access holes are provided in the baffle (Figure 9C).
