Elbow Heat Shield
If using a 90 degree elbow directly off fireplace, the elbow shield is required. Install per instructions in Figure 17.

STEP 1. Locate the two (2) flat elbow
shields.
STEP 4. Attach the two (2) shields to the fireplace.

STEP 2. Bend the three (3) tabs 90
degrees as shown below.
STEP 5. Fold down tab to support rear of shield.
