5 Mounting the Bike Handle
► Check that the nut (2) is in position in the han‐
dle support.
► Fit the drive tube in the rear half of the handle
support – mounting area for perforated strip
must face engine.
► Fit the perforated strip (3) and line up the
holes.
► Fit the front half of the support.
► Fit the seven mounting screws but do not
tighten them down yet.

► Position the support so that the distance (A)
between it and the clutch housing (4) is about
24 cm.
► Now tighten down the seven mounting screws
on the support firmly.
5.3.2 Mounting the handlebar

► Place the handlebar (1) in the lower clamp (2)
so that distance A is about 15 cm.
► Fit the upper clamp (3) and tighten the two
screws (4) moderately.

► Push the hex screw (5) with washer (6)
through the two clamps as far as stop – hold
all parts together.

► Place the assembly on the handle support (7)
with the hex screw at the side nearest the
engine.
► Push the hex screw (5) into the handle support
as far as stop and then screw it down – but do
not finally tighten yet.
► Position the handlebar at a right angle to the
drive tube – check distance A again.
► Tighten down the screws firmly.
