Enters an addition sign.

Enters a subtraction sign.

Enters a multiplication sign.
Example
• Multiply 12 by 34.

Enters a division sign.

• Divide 54 by 32.

The multiplication sign can be left out when:
a. Placed in front of an open parenthe-
sis.
b. Followed by a variable or a math-
ematical constant (π, e, etc.):
c. Followed by a scientific function,
such as sin, log, etc.:
