5.2.3 Setting the summer/wintertime changeover

threshold

NOTICE: System damage
▶ Do not switch over to summer mode if
there is a risk of frost.
DHW heating is independent of the switching between summer
and winter modes.
The summer/wintertime changeover function
is only active if Heating/Cooling > Automatic
mode has been set.
Menu: Sum./wint. changeover
Menu item description
Heating/
Constant summer mode (= OFF): The
Cooling
heat pump is not used for either heating or
cooling.
Automatic mode: Heating or cooling mode
is activated based on the outside
temperature. If the outside temperature is
between the two limits, the system is idle.
Continuous heating: Cooling mode is
never activated and the system is never
idle.
Continuous cooling: Heating mode is
never activated and the system is never
idle.
Heating
If the adjusted outside temperature
mode
the temperature threshold set here, the

heating system is switched off.
If the adjusted outside temperature falls below
the temperature threshold set here by 1 °C, the
heating system is switched on. In systems with
more than one heating circuit, this setting
always relates to the corresponding heating
circuit in each case.
Cooling
If the outside temperature exceeds the
mode
temperature set here, cooling is started.

Table 15 Settings for the summer/wintertime changeover
1) This menu item is only displayed if the outdoor-
temperature-dependent switching between summer and
winter modes is active for the heating circuit concerned.
2) When the outside temperature is adjusted, changes to the
measured outside temperature are delayed and
fluctuations reduced.

5.2.4 DHW alternating operation settings

In DHW alternating operation, DHW and heating have equal
priority and alternate based on time. A heat requirement from
the heating system is not taken into account while DHW heating
is active, and vice versa.
If DHW alternating operation is not active, DHW heating has
priority and interrupts the heat requirement of the heating
system, if necessary.

5.2.5 Setting for heating circuit 1 priority

This menu item allows the other heating circuits to be restricted
via heating circuit 1.
When Priority heating circuit 1 is activated, heating circuit 1
is the primary heating circuit. Heat requirements for other
circuits are only handled if heating circuit 1 has a heat
requirement. This means that the flow temperature required
for heating circuit 1 limits the flow temperature of the other
2)
exceeds
heating circuits.
An example:
Heating circuit 1 requires 50 °C.
Heating circuit 2 requires 55 °C, but receives a maximum of
50 °C (in line with heating circuit 1).
Heating circuit 3 requires 45 °C and receives 45 °C (not
limited by heating circuit 1).

Menu: DHW
These settings are only available if a DHW system is installed in
the system. The water can be heated via a cylinder.
