Smart grid gain

This menu allows you to set whether the energy available in the
smart grid should be used for heating or DHW heating.
Menu: u > Heating
Menu item description
Selectable
Use energy available in the smart grid to
peak
increase the required room temperature by
0 °C to 5 °C. Depending on the setting, the
smart grid function may not be used (for 0 °C
increase in the room temperature).
Forced
Use energy available in the smart grid to
peak
increase the required room temperature by
2 °C to 5 °C.

The DHW temperature is not raised if the holiday program is
active.

When Yes is set here, the DHW is heated to the
peak
temperature set for the DHW operating mode.
It doesn't matter which operating mode is
active for DHW heating.

Photovoltaic gain

This menu allows you to set whether the energy supplied by the
PV system (photovoltaic system) should be used for DHW
heating or heating.
Menu: PV system
Menu item description
Heating
When the photovoltaic system supplies
peak
electrical energy, this is used to increase the
required room temperature by 0 °C to 5 °C.
Depending on the setting, the photovoltaic
system may not be used (for 0 °C increase in
the room temperature).
DHW peak When Yes is set here, the DHW is heated to the
temperature set for the DHW operating mode.
It doesn't matter which operating mode is
active for DHW heating.
The DHW temperature is not raised if the
holiday program is active.

5.10 General settings

No settings are lost in the event of a brief power failure or if the
heat source is shut down for short periods of time. When the
HPC 400
CLIMATE CONTROL SYSTEMS
power supply is restored, the user interface resumes
operation. If the shutdown period is prolonged, the settings for
the time of day and the date might have to be made again. No
other settings are required (Tab. 7, page 10).

Language of the display texts
Switch the format for display of the time of
day between 24-hour and 12-hour format.
All time programs and thermal disinfection
run according to this time. The time of the
day can be set in this menu.
Change the format of the date.
The holiday program, for example, runs
according to this date. The current date of
the week is also determined based on this
date; this affects the time programs and
thermal disinfection, for example. The date
can be set in this menu.
Activate or deactivate the automatic
changeover between summer and winter
time. If Yes is set, the time of day is
automatically changed (from 02:00 to
03:00 on the last Sunday in March and from
03:00 to 02:00 on the last Sunday in
October).
Change the contrast (for a better
readability)
Correction of the room temperature
displayed by the user interface by up to 3
°C ( Calibrate room temperature sensor).
Time correction of the user interface's
internal clock in s/week ( Set correct time
correction (Time correction), page 30)
Settings for the display of additional
temperatures in the standard display
Reset the personal password for the
Internet connection (only available if a Web
IP-module is installed). The next time you
log in, e.g. using an App you will
automatically be prompted to assign a new
password.
The values set during commissioning are
restored (Reset settings) or the service
display is reset (Reset service messages).
