The table below explains the camera setting
Explanation
Sets the compression ratio for recording. Can be set as
described on P.94.
Sets the number of pixels recorded (image file size).
Can be set as described on P.95.
Use this function to specify whether the camera is
automatically switched off if the camera is left unused.
Note that the Auto Power Off function does not operate
during automatic playback (Auto Play) or when a USB
connection is active.
Specifies whether the Frame No. Memory function is
used ( P.96).
Sets the volume of the tone emitted when the camera is
used.
Selects whether a registered screen is displayed when
the camera is switched on. See P.97 for information on
how to register a screen image.
"ON" cannot be selected if no screen has been
registered.
Sets the date and time ( P.22).

Set the Mode switch to " 0 ".
Set the Photography mode dial to " 2 " to
display the SET-UP screen.

Always switch the camera off when you are
replacing the batteries. If you open the battery cover
or disconnect the AC power adapter without
switching the camera off, all the camera settings
may revert to the factory default values.

Press " a " or " b " to select a setting.
Use " " or " " to change the settings.
