• Spark plug
Spark plug:
18 Nm (1.8 m · kg, 13 ft · lb)
NOTE:
To prevent thread damage, finger tighten a
the spark plug before tightening it to the speci-
fied torque b.

ENGINE SWITCH

1. Check:
• Engine switch 1
Checking steps:
• Set the engine switch 1 to "ON" a.
• Start the engine.
• Check that the engine stops when the
switch is set to "STOP" b.

ECONOMY SWITCH

1. Check:
• Economy switch 1
Checking steps:
• Set the economy switch 1 to "ON" a.
• Start the engine.
• Turn the switch of the electric device con-
nected to the AC outlet "ON" and "OFF" to
check whether the engine speed increases
and decreases.

PILOT LIGHT

1. Check:
• Pilot light 1
Checking steps:
• Start the engine.
• Make sure that the pilot light 1 turns on.
