Lightning protection
If you have ordered the lightning protection option, an additional internal module is installed.
This module is a 4-pin combination arrester with a remote signaling contact. The combination
arrester limits the follow-on current and dissipates the lightning energy via dedicated
grounding. The combination arrester displays errors and outputs a trip notification via OCPP.

Double terminal
If you have ordered the optional double terminal for connecting a branch line, the double
terminal is mounted and wired next to or underneath the PE terminal.
The main and branch lines are connected to this double terminal.
Operate a maximum of 2 SICHARGE charging stations on one mains supply.
5.3
SIM card
The charging station uses the SIM card to establish a connection to the backend. The SIM card
used must be able to operate in a closed APN. Otherwise, the communication to the charging
station is not secure.
To order SIM cards, you can select them in the order options. Another option is setting up in
the factory with a connection test to the backend provider.
Requirement
When working on the SIM card, follow the instructions below:
1. Open the charging station
2. Disconnect the charging station from the mains
3. Check the activation
4. Put on ESD clothing and use an ESD grounding wrist strap connected to the protective
conductor
