When the leading edge of the 1st original reaches the separation sensor (S4), the pickup
motor (M3) starts to rotate to move the pickup roller unit from the surface of the stack of
originals. The pickup roller unit stops about 6 mm from the surface of the stack of originals.
Separation sensor (S4)
When the trailing edge of the 1st original moves past the point of contact [1] of the pickup
roller, the pickup roller unit once again moves down to the surface of the stack of originals
to pick up the 2nd original.
