Carefully disconnect all wire harness
connectors from the platform controls circuit
board.
Electrocution/burn hazard.
Contact with electrically charged
circuits could result in death or
serious injury. Remove all rings,
watches and other jewelry.
Component damage hazard.
Electrostatic discharge (ESD)
can damage printed circuit board
components. Maintain firm
contact with a metal part of the
machine that is grounded at all
times when handling printed
circuit boards OR use a
grounded wrist strap.

Carefully remove the platform controls circuit
board fasteners.
10 Carefully remove the platform controls circuit
board from the platform control box.
11 Remove the transparent caps from the
platform controls circuit board and save.
Circuit board fastener torque specifications
Hand tighten until screws seat
Note: Before installing a circuit board, place the
transparent caps removed in step 11, over the
circuit board buttons.
Note: After installing the circuit board, check for
proper button operation. Excessive torque of the
circuit board fasteners will cause the buttons to
bind. Moderate torque of the circuit board
fasteners will not allow the buttons to engage.

Joystick

How to Remove the Joystick

Push in the red Emergency Stop button to the
off position at both the ground and platform
controls.

Disconnect the platform controls from the
control cable at the platform.

Remove the fasteners securing the platform
control box to the platform control bracket.

Remove the fasteners securing the bottom
cover to the platform control box. Open the
control box.
5
Remove the ties securing the joystick wire
harness.
6
Carefully disconnect the joystick wire harness
from the platform controls circuit board.

< 0.6 Nm

Carefully remove the joystick fasteners.

Carefully remove the joystick from the
platform control box.
