Determining the collector row distance "z"

When installing several collectors in series, maintain distance z (see page 20).
Example:
Würzburg is located at approx 50° latitude.
1. Determine the angle of the sun .
In Germany this angle (subject to
latitude) lies between
12° (Flensburg) and 20° (Freiburg).
Angle of the sun:
90°
23.5°
latitude
(23.5° should be accepted as con-
stant)

23.5°
50° = 16.5°
