Compress the foam around the

sorter bowl opening in the platen
then lower the sorter bowl down so
that the 3 studs fit into the 3 slots
on the machine.
NOTE: Make sure the front stud
clears the tab on the front of the
bowl bracket.
Once the bowl is sitting in the slots,

slide it back until the stud goes
through the hole in the front of the
bowl plate.
Once the bowl is in place, tuck the
foam into the gap between the bowl
and the body to make sure it is not
sticking up too high.
Install the front bowl nut to hold

the bowl in place but don't tighten
the nut. You will tighten the nut
later during the alignment process.
8 Flip the machine on its back and
install the 3 nuts that hold the bowl
in the machine.
NOTE: If a torque wrench is available,
tighten the 3x nuts to 3 in-lbs. Other-
wise tighten the nuts until they stop
turning easily (no looseness in the bowl
assy), then loosen them 1/6th of a turn
so that the bowl will slide easily in the
base bracket.
