Sorter Bowl Replacement
Preparing to Disassemble
1
Unplug the power and data cable
and make sure all stones and trans-
fer sheets are removed from the
machine.
2 Make sure the pinch wheel lever
is in the up position (the wheels
should be down pressing on the
driveshaft) and rotate the machine
so it's resting on its back as shown.
3 Remove the 7 bottom cover screws
and remove the bottom cover.
4 Locate the 3 nuts holding the bowl
in the machine and remove them.
NOTE: Early models of the Crystal-
Press Sorter Bowl do not have nuts
holding the bottom of the assembly.
If your machine does not look like
the picture, please contact Ioline
Customer Service (see the end of
this procedure).

Bowl Center Stud Carefully remove the bowl assem- bly from the machine. Lift up on the bowl assembly until the bottom studs clear the machine.

If the tape is already installed and in good condition, this step is not necessary.
- Page 5 14140 NE 200th St. Woodinville, WA 98072 USA 1.425.398.8282 www.ioline.com Compress the foam around the sorter bowl opening in the platen then lower the sorter bowl down so that the 3 studs fit into the 3 slots on the machine.
- Page 6 Disassemble. Consult the Bowl Alignment Procedure to align the bowls with the C-stick and com- plete the installation.
