CONNECTING THE CABLE MODEM
9. The Installation Wizard attempts to detect your cable modem (fig. 9).
10. If the modem is not detected, you are prompted to check the USB connections
(fig. 10).
A. Make sure the USB cable is securely connected to the modem and to the
computer. Make sure the modem is plugged in and turned on, then click "detect
modem." The Installation Wizard attempts to detect your cable modem.
B. If the modem is not detected, please check the status of your USB port and USB
connections. Click "OK" to exit the wizard (fig. 11).
