Once the input source, speaker and
antenna connections have been made,
and the system has been configured, the
receiver is ready for operation.
Power Switch
To turn the AVR75 on, press the front panel
button
.

Power
When you press the
Power
unit will turn on to the state (Standby or
totally off) that was at the last total turn
off. Note that the LED indicator
surrounding the switch will turn red, then
green in the moment the unit turns on
completly. If the unit is connected to a TV
and the OSD is turned on by pressing
a brief status report (see
OSD <11>
figure #6, page 27) of the AVR75's settings
will momentarily appear.

Once the unit has been turned on with
the front panel switch it may then be
operated using the
Main Power

on the remote. Note that the remote
power will NOT operate unless the front

When the AVR75 is turned off using
the remote control it is placed in a
STANDBY mode, and the Standby LED
surrounding the

illuminate in amber. The AVR75 may
then be turned on by pressing either the

mode, and the amber LED around the
switch is illuminated, it is NOT

Basic Operation

To turn the AVR75 totally off, press and
release the
Power
LED surrounding the switch goes out.

Source Selection

To select or change the input source,
press one of the
the front panel

Each time the source is changed a
message (see fig. #7, page 27) will appear
briefly if the on-screen display is activated
confirming the new selection.
To listen to one source while you watch
another, first select the video source, and
then select the desired audio source.
NOTE: When the unit is in "Standby"
