If there are repeated paper jams

Paper jams can occur repeatedly when the roller is not operating correctly, or print media is not
loaded correctly. Paying attention to the following points, reload the paper or clean the roller.
Roller
Is the roller clean?
If the roller is dirty, clean it. (See page 113.)
Is the roller operating properly?
If the roller is not operating properly, contact your local authorised Canon dealer or the Canon help
line.
Print media
Do the sheets of paper stick together?
Fan the sheets of paper well before loading.
Are the edges of the paper aligned?
Align the edges of the paper.
Is the paper guide adjusted correctly?
Adjust the paper guide correctly.
Does the paper stack exceed the paper limit mark?
Make sure the paper stack does not exceed the paper limit mark when loading. (See page 25.)
Is there any different type of print media in the paper stack?
Only use the same type of paper.
Does the print media meet the requirements of this machine?
Use the print media meeting the requirements of this machine. (See page 16.)
