Using the OASYS PCI

The OASYS PCI installer creates a folder named "User Files," with sub-directories
for Programs and Multis. You can save your own Programs into the Programs
folder inside this directory (User Files:Programs). You can also create other main
folders inside the OASYS PCI folder, at the same level as "User Files." You may
wish to distinguish Effects-Only Programs by storing them in a separate main
folder, separate from standard Programs.
It's important to store Programs inside a sub-directory named "Programs." If a
Program is not stored in a Program folder inside the OASYS PCI folder, it will not
appear in the Program Catalog.

Don't save into the Korg and Korg FX Programs folders
The Korg and Korg FX Programs folders are reserved for Korg's own use, so don't
save your own sounds in these folders. If you do, the sounds may be deleted when
you update or re-install the OASYS PCI software.

If the Channel's Input Type is set to Audio Input or Stream, temporarily
change the Input Type to Program.
Double-click on the Program name in the Input Slot, to open the Program
Edit window.
Make sure that there are no Patches in the Program. If there are, delete them.
Select the "Save Program and Insert Effects As..." command from the File
menu.
Name the Effects-Only Program.
Select a location to save the Effects-Only Program.
If you changed the Channel's Input Type in step 1, change it back again.
