Load m edia for peeling ( if t he print er is equipped wit h t he opt ion) as follows:
When using t he Peel Mechanism do not exceed a print speed of 4 I PS.
To ut ilize " Tear m ode" wit h Peel and Present Opt ion inst alled; m ove t he Peeler Door t o it s open posit ion.
1) Load m edia as described in Sect ion 2.3, ( st eps 1- 3) .
2) Rem ove about 8 inches ( 200m m ) of labels from t he Media Backing.
3) Open t he Peeler Door. Rout e t he Media Backing over t he Plat en Roller and Peel Bar, and t hen
behind t he Peel Roller and Peeler Door, as shown below.
4) Close t he Peeler Door.
5) I f using Therm al Transfer m edia ( ribbon) proceed t o Sect ion 2.4 Loading Ribbon. Ot herwise close
t he print er's Cover and press downward unt il lat ched.
6) Press t he
7) The print er will now peel each label and present it t o t he operat or for rem oval. The indicat or light
w ill flash orange and t he next label will not feed/ print unt il t he previous label is rem oved.
The print er is fact ory set t o use gap m edia. I f using anot her m edia t ype ( for exam ple, cont inuous
m edia) , print er set up m ust be reconfigured; see Sect ion 3.4
