u Remove fan. See the generator set's operating manual.
u Loosen hex screw 1 (M12 8,8).
u Loosen rigging screw 2 (M10 10,9).
u Remove the V-ribbed belt 3.
u Check that the belt pulleys and tensioning device are in perfect working order
and check their play (for example, tread wear on the belt pulleys).
w Replace the damaged parts. Contact Kohler.
u Place new V-ribbed belts on all belt pulleys and tightening roller, making sure
that they are properly seated.
u Turn rigging screw 2 (M10 10.9) until tensioned.
w Check tension with an appropriate frequency device.
Own frequency is 111 Hz:
u Tighten hex screw 1 (M12 8.8).
u Start the engine and let it run for 30 minutes.
u Turn off engine and check pretension. Retension if necessary.
u Install the fan. See the generator set's operating manual.
