If an inappropriate coolant is used, the engine
cooling system is not su ciently protected
against overheating and corrosion at high out-
side temperatures.
Only use coolant approved by Mercedes-

ating Fluids 320.1.
Have the coolant regularly replaced at a quali ed
specialist workshop.

Windshield washer concentrate is highly am-
mable. It could ignite if it comes into contact
with hot engine component parts or the
exhaust system.
Make sure that no windshield washer

concentrate spills out next to the ller
opening.
* N N O O TE TE Damage to the exterior lighting due
to unsuitable windshield washer uid
Unsuitable windshield washer uid may dam-
age the plastic surface of the exterior lighting.
Only use windshield washer uid which is

also suitable for use on plastic surfaces,
e.g. MB SummerFit or MB WinterFit.
