Scanner Cover (Scanner Unit)

The scanner cover should be removed together with the ADF & document cover ASSY*
(document cover) whose removal procedure is given in
& document cover ASSY* is detailed in
(1) Open the scanner cover until it locks.
(2) Remove the CIS flat cable cover and the harness cover by inserting the tip of a flat screwdriver
into the slots and releasing the latches.
