Using mobile device management, devices can be
connected, disconnected, and interchanged.

Limitations of mobile devices and applications
Availability of features
The availability of certain features depends on the
type of mobile device, as well as that of the applica-
tions installed.
Compatibility of mobile devices
It is possible to check the ŠKODAweb pages to see if
Infotainment is compatible with the selected mobile
device being tested. This check is carried out by us-
ing the following reference or by reading the QR
code:

All information given is incidental and serves as in-
formation.
The ŠKODA AUTO company cannot guarantee full
functionality and compatibility, e.g. due to a software
update of the Infotainment and the mobile devices.
Compatibility of mobile devices
Due to the large number of mobile devices, it is not
possible to guarantee full Bluetooth® compatibility
with infotainment. Bluetooth® compatibility depends

on the Bluetooth® version and the implementation of
the Bluetooth® protocols on the part of the manu-
facturer of the mobile device.
Applications in mobile devices
Applications can be installed in external devices mak-
ing it possible to display additional information on
the Infotainment screen or to operate Infotainment.
Due to the variety of applications as well as their on-
going development, the available applications may
not work in all external devices. ŠKODA AUTO as-
sumes no liability for their proper function.
The range of available applications and their func-
tionality is dependent on the Infotainment model, ve-
hicle and region.

Connection set-up
Connect a mobile device to Infotainment

Find available Bluetooth® devices in the mobile de-
vice.

Select the Infotainment Bluetooth® unit.
The name of the unit can be found in menu item
Bluetooth Contact_type_name .
Connect Infotainment to a mobile device that is al-
ready paired

Bluetooth Add device Start scan .
SmartLink connection
Infotainment provides the ability to connect Smar-
tLink to compatible mobile devices using the follow-
ing connection types:
Android Auto
Apple CarPlay
Mobile devices can be connected to the Infotain-
ment via a USB cable.

Connect the mobile device to the Infotainment us-
ing a USB cable.
›
Tap the icon of the supported connection.

Telephone

Overview

Tap on .
If the menu Telephone is not displayed, check
whether the mobile device is connected.
