Place trash in sealed plastic bags.
-
Do not leave trash outside the buildings, beside your front door, outside of the dumpster or on
top of the dumpster. Please place them inside and close the dumpster doors/cover – again, in
order to keep out the animals.
-
Our trash company bans certain items from the trash containers, including mattresses and large
furniture.
It is your responsibility to dispose of anything not allowed in the trash.
leaving large items by the dumpster for our Property Manager to break up and dispose will
be fined. If you need help disposing a bulky item, please contact the Property Manager as we
do have a couple of haulers that are very reasonably priced should you require assistance.

For more information on what recyclable items get picked up, or which items are banned by our
trash company, visit asterfields.org/residents, and find our "Trash Guidelines" links.
Basements
Coin-Op machines provided for the convenience of residents.
Please do not overload the machines. There is evidence that this is occurring by the fact that
the concrete block underneath all washers is substantially chipped, as the machine is slammed
back and forth during the spin cycle. This also loosens the counterweights and belts within the
machine.
Please make sure all pockets are checked and emptied. There is evidence of items found both
inside the machine, as well as within the machine's filter, which clogs drainage.
Please only use a maximum of 2 tablespoons of laundry detergent.
Storage areas: Please use pallets when storing personal items inside your storage unit.

2. Watch for the hazard lights to flash three times.
3. Lock the doors and confirm that the horn does not sound.
To reactivate the beep feature:
