To replace the front fan holder assembly,
Connect the system fan cable to system board connector (Figure 3-41).
1.
Install the system fan onto the chassis. (Figure 3-41).

Reinstall the air baffle.
3.
Reinstall the access panel and tighten the thumbscrews.
4.
Return the server to the upright position.
5.
Connect the power cables to the power supplies.
6.
End of procedure.

Rear fan assembly removal and replacement

To remove the rear fan assembly, proceed as follows:
Power down the server.
