Getting started
What's the highest resolution on VIVE Pro 2, and how do I
enable it?
VIVE Pro 2 features an ultra-high resolution of 4896 x 2448, and uses Display Stream
Compression (DSC) to transmit over the DisplayPort cable. Video stream compression with DSC
is automatic and has no noticeable change in quality.
To use the full display resolution, make sure that:
§ Your graphics card is DSC capable. See
card requirements.
§ You use VIVE Link Box (2.0) and VIVE Headset Cable (2.0) that came with VIVE Pro 2.
By default, the VIVE Console app automatically sets the headset display settings based on the
capabilities of your graphics card. You can manually change the settings. See
display settings
on page 79.
