If the Equipment Vibrates

Clean the equipment, remove any grass
remnants present on the cutting head and
in the protective cover.

Care and Maintenance

Have any work not described in
these instructions carried out
by our Grizzly service centre.
Wear gloves when handling the
metal cutting blade and thread
cutter. Risk of injury.
Never use metallic threads or
saw blades. The use of such
non-original parts can cause
personal injury and irreparable
damage to the equipment and
will result in immediate invali-
dation of the guarantee.

Cleaning the Equipment

Clean the cutting device and protec-
tive cover of grass and earth after
each cutting procedure.
The equipment is to be neither
sprayed with water nor placed in wa-
ter.
Do not use detergents or solvents.
These could cause irreparable dam-
age to the equipment.

Changing the Reel

1. Switch off the engine.
2. Place the equipment on the ground
and ensure that no fuel leaks and that
the equipment is safely supported.
3. Unscrew the reel capsule (16) clock-

by hand. To make the
work easier, the cutting head holder
(19) and bottom flange (33a) can be
106
locked using the enclosed metal pin
(see also pic. 6).
4. Press both locking devices (16a) on
the bobbin case (16) at the same time
and remove the spool lid (43). Take
the spool (17) out of the bobbin case
(16).
5. Insert a new spool into the spool lid
(43) and thread both thread ends
through the eyes (44) in the spool lid
(43).
6. Place the spool lid (43) with the spool
(17) on to the bobbin case (16) so that
the eyes (44) fit into the notches on
the bobbin case. It locks into place
audibly. Make sure the spring (45)
has a tight fit.
