ip default-gateway

The ip default-gateway Global Configuration mode command defines a default gateway ( device). To return to
the default configuration, use the no form of this command.
Syntax
ip default-gateway ip-address
no ip default-gateway
Parameters
•
ip-address — Valid IP address of the default gateway.
Default Configuration
No default gateway is defined.
Command Mode
Global Configuration mode
User Guidelines
Note
The command is only valid when the device is in Switch mode.
Example
The following example defines default gateway 192.168.1.1.
