TROUBLESHOOTING

PROBLEM
I can't access the network
encoder from a web browser.
Viewer got disconnected during
monitoring.
I cannot connect to the system
using a tab browser of Internet
Explorer 7.0.
The network encoder connected to
the network is not detected in the
IP installer program.
Images overlap.
No image appears.
Check whether the <Network> settings of the network encoder are valid
and correct.
Check to make sure that all network cables have been connected
properly.
If connected using DHCP, verify that the network encoder is able to
acquire dynamic IP addresses without any problem.
If connected using a DDNS URL, verify that the MAC address has been
properly entered.
If the network encoder is connected to a Broadband Router, verify that
port forwarding is properly configured.
The existing <Web Viewer> connection can be expired if the network
setting or configuration of the network encoder is modified by another
user.
Check all network connections.
<Web Viewer> connection may be interrupted by poor network traffic or
condition if the network encoder is connected to a PPPoE network.
When you try to connect to the system using a tab browser, the same
cookie information is shared, resulting in errors when connected.
Therefore, instead of using a tab browser, open a new browser window
to connect to the system.
Turn off the firewall settings on your PC and then search the network
encoder again.
Check whether two or more network encoders are set to a single
multicast address instead of different addresses. If a single address is
used for multiple network encoders, the images may overlap.
If the transmission method is set to multicast, check whether there
is a router that supports multicast in the LAN the network encoder is
connected to.
