You can set a rule of Port Forwarding on the Broadband Router device through its

You cannot change the Silverlight policy server port of a network encoder.
You can change the ports of the network encoder except the policy server port
through its confi guration web pages.
CONNECTING TO THE NETWORK ENCODER FROM A
SHARED LOCAL PC
1. Run the IP Installer.
It will scan for connected network
encoders and display a list of them.
2. Double-click a network encoder to ac-
cess.
The Internet browser starts and connects
to the network encoder.


Access to the network encoder can also be gained by typing the network encoder's IP address in
the address bar of the Internet browser.
CONNECTING TO THE NETWORK ENCODER FROM A
REMOTE PC VIA THE INTERNET
Since using the IP Installer on a remote computer that is not in the Broadband Router's network
cluster is not allowed, users can access network encoders within a Broadband Router's network
by using the network encoder's DDNS URL.
1. Before you can access a network encoder in the Broadband Router network, you
should have set the port range forward for the Broadband Router.
2. From the remote PC, launch the Internet browser and type the DDNS URL address of
the network encoder, or the IP address of the Broadband Router in the address bar.
