12. MAINTENANCE TABLE

Intervention
MACHINE
Check the status of the connection
cable of the battery backpack.
Check all fasteners.
Safety checks/command check.
Check the battery charge status.
Recharge the battery.
Clean the machine and the engine.
Checking for any damage to the machine. If
necessary, contact the authorised service centre.

13. TROUBLESHOOTING

PROBLEM
1. The machine does not
start when the throttle
control is operated.
2. The motor shuts
down whilst working.
3. The rotor rotates,
but the air does
not come out from
the blower tube.
4. Excessive noise and/or
vibration is experienced
whilst working.
PROBABLE CAUSE
Battery is not inserted or is
inserted incorrectly.
Incorrect connection to the
battery backpack.
Low battery.
Faulty throttle control or
damaged blower.
Battery backpack selector to "OFF".
The connection cable is not correctly
inserted in the battery backpack.
Battery is not inserted correctly.
Low battery.
Blocked or clogged blower tube.
Loose or damaged parts.

Make sure that the battery is
inserted correctly (par. 7.2.3).
Check that the machine is correctly
connected to the battery backpack.
Check the battery status and
recharge if necessary (par. 7.2.2).
Do not use the machine. Immediately
stop the machine, disconnect it from the
battery backpack,
contact an authorised service centre.
Check that the selector (Fig. 7.B)
is placed on one of the batteries
inside the battery backpack.
Check the correct connection of the cable to
the machine and to the battery backpack.
Make sure that the battery is
inserted correctly (par. 7.2.3).
Check the charge status and
recharge the battery (par. 7.2.2), or, if
available, choose another battery.
Stop the machine,
from the battery backpack and
remove any obstructions.
Stop the machine,
from the battery backpack and:
inspect for damage;
check for and tighten any loose parts;
have any damaged parts replaced
or repaired with parts having
equivalent specifications.
