Reference identification labels

Definition
Reference identification labels are accessories for the Ex module group. Equipment labeling
plates are used for plant-specific marking of the components of the Ex module group.

The reference identification labels are mostly used for the
unique identification of the modules within the Ex module
group.
Reference identification labels can be printed and can be or‐
dered as accessories:
• Reference identification labels for thermal transfer and ink‐
jet printers on a sheet

Labeling strips

Definition
Labeling strips are accessories for the Ex module group. Attach the labeling strips on the
modules for plant-specific marking.
Configuration
Table 3-9 Labeling strips
The labeling strips are mostly used for unique identification of
the component within the system.
Labeling strips can be printed and can be ordered as accesso‐
ries:
• Labeling strips for thermal transfer printer on a roll
• Labeling strips for laser printer as A4 sheets
