Removing the Ex BaseUnit for Ex power module

Requirement
• All adjacent components on the right (Ex BaseUnit or server module) have been removed.
You can find information on this in the following sections:
– Section "Removing a server module (Page 72)"
– Section "Pull Ex I/O module (Page 73)"
– Section "Removing an Ex power module (Page 73)"
– Section "Removing the Ex BaseUnit for Ex I/O module (Page 75)"
• There is a clearance of at least 8 mm to adjacent Ex BaseUnits.

Procedure
Press the mounting rail release at the top of the Ex Base‐

Unit and move the Ex BaseUnit at least 8 mm to the

right .
1. Keep the mounting rail release on the Ex BaseUnit

pressed and swing the Ex BaseUnit out of the

mounting rail .
2. Lift the Ex BaseUnit upwards from the mounting

rail .
