8.6 Check This Before Performing a Test Run
Before performing checks, be sure to fill out the below sheet and give the building manager a copy. Explain
to the him/her that keeping them in a handy safe place will enable faster response by aftercare service.
Note: Keep system codes consistent.
Before performing a test run, check the following items.
1. Check drain piping is

Appendix (Check Points in Installing UM Series)
Check method and criterion
Drain piping gradient should be 1:100 or more.
Add water to one of the indoor units and check for leaks and
blockages in the system. Check the same amount of water
you added is drained out.
Check wiring is as shown on the system diagram.
Check wiring is as shown on the power supply wiring
diagram.
Check settings are as indicated on the system diagram.
Refer to the installation manual and system reference
materials.
Mark pipe length and the refrigerant charge at prescribed
locations.
