4. Remove the three Phillips M2.0 × 2.2 broad head screws (3) that secure the touchpad to the
keyboard/top cover.
5. Remove the touchpad bracket (4), and then remove the touchpad from the keyboard/top cover (5).
Reverse this procedure to install the touchpad.

Battery

To remove the battery, use this procedure and illustration.

which can cause shorting across the connectors.
