Confirmation of the System Construction

When a system error is detected

Confirm the settings for equipment of the same system after connection.

Connect the AC cords of all equipment to the AC outlets.

Set the connected equipment to standby.
Set the MAIN POWER switch of the rear panel to ON for this unit.
For other equipment, see the relevant operating instructions.

Press the SYS SET button of the front panel.
You can press the SYS SET button of any equipment making up the
system.
When the SYS SET button is pressed, the following message appears.
CONF I GUR I NG
THE SYSTEM
The information of the system construction, setting of the interface
board and etc. are confirmed. After confirmation, the message
disappears.
Note
When confirming the system construction by pressing the SYS SET
button, do not do another operation. If you do, the system construction
may not be confirmed.
The following error messages appears.
Message Contents
MASTER SW NOT Number 1 switcher cannot be
EXIST ! confirmed.
SAME DEVICE INDEX The same device index
FOR PJ DETECTED ! number for the projector is
confirmed among the same
system connection.
SAME DEVICE INDEX The same device index
FOR SW DETECTED ! number for the switcher is
confirmed among the same
system connection.
Solution
Set the switcher that
outputs the signal to the
projector to number 1.
Set a different index
number.
Set a different index
