Notes on connection
• Turn off the power to all equipment before making
any connection.
• Use the connecting cable according to the type of the
connector to be connected.
• Connect firmly. A loose connection may cause hum
or other noise.
When disconnecting a cord, pull it out by grasping the
plug. Never pull the cord itself.
• For details on connections, please read the operating
manual supplied with each model.
• Set the SW NO switch to 1.
• Connect the supplied terminator to the connector not
in use.
• Set the IN/OUT switch of the IFB-12/12A to OUT.

1) When you connect this unit to the RGB IN connector of the
monitor, set the RGB/MIX switch of the IFB-12/12A to
RGB.
Setting the MODE selector
The built-in compensating circuit reduces deterioration
in picture resolution caused by using a long cable. To
activate the circuit, set the MODE selectors at the rear
of the switcher according to the cable length or cable
type.
