(3) Adjusting the lower looper

WARNING :
Turn OFF the power before starting the work so as to prevent accidents caused by abrupt start of the
sewing machine.

1) Returning amount of the lower looper

F : The distance between the blade point of the lower looper ❸ and the center of the needle ❹ should be
as follows when the lower looper ❸ is at the extreme left of its stroke.

2) Clearance between the lower looper and the needle

When the lower looper ❸ moves to the right toward the center line of the needle ❹ , the clearance be-
tween the blade point of the lower looper ❸ and the scarf of the needle ❹ should be 0.01 to 0.1 mm.
