(5) Positioning the upper looper

WARNING :
Turn OFF the power before starting the work so as to prevent accidents caused by abrupt start of the
sewing machine.

1) The relationship between the needle and the upper looper

E : The distance between the blade point of the upper looper ❸ and the center of the needle ❹ should be
as follows when the upper looper ❸ is at the extreme left of its travel.

2) The relationship between the upper looper and the lower looper

The clearance between the upper looper ❸ and lower looper ❺ should be 0.05 to 0.2 mm when they
cross with each other.
