Adjustment procedures
1) Lubrication oil
1. Remove the oil sight window ❶ from the oil inlet. Add lubricat-
ing oil specifically made for machines which run at a super-high
speed (JUKI MACHINE OIL #18) supplied with the unit or equiva-
lent through the oil inlet. When the oil surface reaches the space
between two marker lines on the oil gauge ❹ , tighten the oil
sight window ❶ .
2. Before using a new sewing machine for the first time after the
purchase or the sewing machine which has not been used for an
extended period of time, the shaded sections of needle bar ❷
and upper looper guide ❸ have to be lubricated.
2) Drainage and refill the oil
1. Loosen the drain screw ❺ and drain all the oil inside the oil tank.
Then, tighten the drain screw ❺ again.
2. In order to extend the term of usage, please replace the oil after
the first four weeks, and then replace it every four months.
