Replaceable units: 5U92 SAS disk enclosure

The 5U92 disk enclosure contains both customer-replaceable units (CRUs) and field-replaceable units
(FRUs). FRUs are replaced by your IBM service support representatives (SSRs).

Removing and replacing 5U92 disk enclosure parts

You can remove and replace parts from the 5U92 enclosure to perform service or during the initial
installation process.

Replacing a disk enclosure

You can replace a faulty enclosure of a 5U expansion enclosure with a new one from FRU stock.
Before you begin
DANGER: Multiple power cords. The product might be equipped with multiple AC power cords or
multiple DC power cables. To remove all hazardous voltages, disconnect all power cords and
