Familiarizing yourself with your telephone
Important information
Avaya is granting the end user a license within the scope of the license types
described below. The permitted number of licenses and activity units for which the
license is being granted is one (1), unless a different number of licenses or activity
units is stipulated in the documentation or in other materials available to the end
user. "Assigned computer" means one single, autonomous computer. A "server" is
an assigned computer that acts as a central computer for a software application
which can be accessed from several computers. "Software" signifies computer
programs in machine-readable format (object code) for which an original license
exists on the part of and that are utilized by the end user either as autonomous
products or in the form of a pre-installation in the hardware. "Hardware" signifies
standard hardware products that were originally sold by Avaya and are utilized by
the end user.
License type(s):
A license assigned to a system/systems (DS). The end user may only install and
use the software on an assigned computer, unless a different number of allocated
computers is stipulated in the documentation or in other materials available to the
end user. Avaya is authorized to require identification of the assigned computer(s)
by means of indication of the type, the serial number, the key for the feature, the
location or other specific description and is also authorized to require that the end
user provides these by means of electronic media that were specially designed by
Avaya for this purpose.
Third-party components
Certain software programs or parts thereof that are contained in the product can
contain software that was sold as a result of third-party agreements("third-party
components"). These agreements can contain provisions that expand or limit the
rights of use of certain parts of this product ("third-party provisions"). For information
