File Compatibility (P-touch Editor 5.x for Windows)
The files saved with P-touch Editor 3.x/4.x/5.0 can be opened in P-touch Editor 5.1 or later. However, the files saved with P-touch Editor 5.1 or later cannot be opened in P-touch Editor 3.x/4.x/5.0 because the default
file format of P-touch Editor 5.1 or later is "lbx" and is different from "lbl" that is the default file format of P-touch Editor 3.x/4.x/5.0.
An exceptional example to open the file saved with P-touch Editor 5.x in P-touch Editor 4.2:
1. When you save a file in P-touch Editor 5.x, click on [File] - [Save As...] and choose the extension ".lbl".
2. Start P-touch Editor 4.2 and open the file.
However, the file including the new function of P-touch Editor 5.x such as "RSS barcode", cannot be opened correctly in P-touch Editor 4.2.
