Installing IP SpeedDome Ultra 8 with a RHOPN Pendant Mounting
At this stage you should prepare the SpeedDome Ultra 8 Camera for connection to the pendant
housing.
8 Gently swivel eyeball to totally expose one of two slot covers.
Caution
Swiveling the eyeball fast can damage gears.
9 Insert small, thin-bladed screwdriver into space between cover and eyeball.
10 Gently pry off slot cover.
11 Gently swivel eyeball to totally expose remaining slot cover. With other cover removed, this
cover can be easily removed.
Note
The desiccant bag is only required for outdoor installations. If you are installing in an indoor
position then go to step 13.
12 Place the desiccant bag in the pocket located inside the housing and adjacent to the
blower/heater assembly.
