4. Installation and Uninstallation

4.1 Installation

Installing the InterlockConfigTool
Important
・Windows 8 may not have .NET Framework 2.0 installed as a standard application, and installation
of .NET Framework 2.0 requires an Internet connection.
If the computer on which the InterlockConfigTool will be installed does not have an active Internet
connection, have the .NET Framework 2.0 installation file ready by following the instructions detailed
under [Installation Procedures: .NET Framework 2.0].
・Before installing the InterlockConfigTool, make sure the computer meets the system requirements
specified under section 3. System Requirements.

(1) Save all work in progress, and quit all applications. Refer to the relevant software manuals for how to
save the data or quit the programs.
(2) Insert the Setup CD into the computer drive, and run Setup.msi.
(3) On Windows 8, a popup message may appear as shown in the
figure at right. If this message appears, click "No," to exit the
window. Install .NET Framework 2.0 by following the instructions
on page 8 under [Installation procedures: .NET Framework 2.0],
and install the InterlockConfigTool.
(4) Click "Next" on the InterlockConfigTool installation screen.
(5) Specify the installation destination folder. To use the
default destination folder, click "Next."
