Explanation

protection function.
Requirement:
Current must flow on the main conducting paths.

OFF: Compact starter is out of service.

OFF and eye for padlock pulled out: Compact

starter is out of service and secured against
unauthorized closing.
READY and "Overload trip" display (1) not white:

Compact starter is ready.
READY and "Overload trip" display (1) white:

Compact starter not ready (tripped).
TRIPPED: Short-circuit tripped or malfunction
