6.2 Backing Up the Current System Partition
In this step, you will be saving any customized configuration information
on the System Partition.
Note:
This procedure saves a customized configuration (1).

you must reset that sequence after you complete this procedure.
1.
If a power-on password is set and your customer did not remove it
before you started this procedure you will need to move one of the
following jumpers to remove the password:

Power-on the system (without a diskette in the drive).
3.
Wait until the POST finishes (system beeps).
When the cursor moves to the top-right corner of the screen, press
Ctrl+Alt+Ins.
4.
Select Set configuration from the Main Menu of the system programs.
Then select Backup configuration, and press Enter.
5.
After the backup configuration is completed, continue with the next
step.
6.
Select View configuration and use the Print Screen key or pencil and
paper to make a note of any option adapters in the system.

If the user has not changed the drive-startup sequence of the system,
go to step 11.

Select Set features from the Main Menu of the system programs.

drive A) and follow the instructions on the screen.
